People won't feel that way in a few decades.
I wish we could get rid of the Progs and their insane agenda. Biden is too weak and stupid to stand upto them
energy suicide. how can a country as smart and practical like Germany do such a whacked out policy?
we are down from peak production significantly.
Dumb ass policies
Holy circle jerk!

Answer, Christiecrite!
It gets worse when you realize that oil doesn't just provide energy but a whole plethora of other materials and goods that modern society needs. Many of these are economical to make because we use oil for energy. Without that use, these would become far more expensive, and maybe even prohibitively expensive. For example, plastics use about 4 to 8% of oil production. If oil for energy ended and just 4 to 8% of current production remained to make plastics, how much higher would the cost of oil per barrel be?
Then comes the question of waste. If oil for energy ended, but production for other purposes continued, what do you do with those portions of the oil after distillation that are no longer needed like gasoline, diesel, etc.? Do we burn it off? That creates the problem we wanted to solve by ending oil for energy use. Do we dump it somewhere? If so, where and how much pollution does that create?
Dumb as usual. If oil did not fuel autos, there would be more available then theoretically would make lubricants and plastics cheaper, not more expensive. We would have a glut of oil.
