All of the vile and criminal behaviors they exposed occurred while Gaetz was serving in Congress. He KNEW what he did was wrong. That's why he withdrrew his name from consideration for the AG nomination, and why he resigned his seat in the House. Yet we see MAGAT apologists on this thread making excuses for him and "I'm not going to vote for him" and trying to change the subject to something, ANYTHING, other than condemning his predatory and criminal acts like ppl of integrity and morals have done. We all know that Trump knew about his grievous conduct. He choose Gaetz simply because of his loyalty to the throne and his hopes that Gaetz would go after his many political enemies. In other words, not only is Trump a horrible judge of character, he intends to waponize the DOJ as he has accused others of doing -- without evidence.
