She said the state can say that Zimmerman "confronted" Martin because that is the basis for their case. The terms "vigilante" and "wanna-be cop" will also be allowed.
Nelson told the lawyers opening statements are not evidence anyway, and if they fail to prove what they said they could in those statements, the defense is free to tell the jury that.
