There are Two basic political ideologies: 'Individualism' & 'Collectivism'

Libertarians are naive. They are brought into the world by parents they did not choose. Fed and clothed as children. Sent to school educated by teachers with an expertise in each subject area. Then they complain they want freedom from the "collective."

Cracka pleeeez

That is a ridiculous argument. Most kids can't wait to get out from under mom and dad's thumb, and out of high school. Not just pre libertarian kids.

I did not say kids want to stay at home. I was pointing out the role society plays for the individual.

So far, none of you right wingers know what "classical liberalism" is.

"Classical liberalism is a political tradition and a branch of liberalism that advocates free market and laissez-faire economics; civil liberties under the rule of law with especial emphasis on individual autonomy, limited government, economic freedom, political freedom and freedom of speech."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classical_liberalism

Basically, the opposite of "modern liberalism".

That is a definition of libertarianism.

You are the definition of fascism.

Yakuda defines a system where the state or central authority controls the means of production under an authoritarian dictator where opposition to the ruling party is a criminal offense, where the press and speech are tightly regulated to ensure that no opposition to the party exists?

You're saying Yakuda is Joe Biden? :bigthink:

The America Thinker is a POS publication.

Will the STASI be putting the writer in handcuffs and burning down the offices?

I mean, that is the precedent under the Biden dictatorship.

{"It seems to me that the DOJ had other reasons to seize these devices, having nothing to do with Ashley Biden and everything to do with hobbling the efforts of a journalism outlet regularly critical of the policies of the administration and its corporate allies," Dhillon told Newsweek.

Dhillon added that "well-settled law says a media outlet may publish even stolen material, as long as it didn't play a role in the theft. So why is the DOJ executing pre-dawn raids on Project Veritas journalists, given the total lack of any evidence that Project Veritas had a role in stealing the diary?"

The fact that Project Veritas never published the diary and allegedly surrendered it to law enforcement makes the situation more baffling. And both Calli and Dhillon are calling for a third-party investigation into the "cozy and conflicted" relationship, as Dhillon puts it, between the Times and U.S. law enforcement.}

Yes, but this time the tyranny will be enforced through tech tools, which will be completely controlled by the administrative class, the New Mandarins.

Talk about being off the wall.

Watching what is being done to Trump, and those who agree with some of what he says, is a great window onto how the New Mandarins operate.

It only gets worse from here.

I have seen other right wingers talk about classical liberalism. Who do they mean? Locke? Mill? Who?

Typically Paine, Jefferson, Madison, Mason, Revere - the founders of this once magnificent nation.

Liberalism is the support of liberty, the support of individualism, the support of Laissez Faire Capitalism.

The fascist/Marxism of democrats is the polar opposite of "liberal." Collectivist, authoritarian, group think.
