There is no need to repeal Obamacare, as left to it's own it will die in pieces

So your issue is with doctors who don't operate offices in your neighborhood?

No dopey, there are doctors in all of those peoples neighborhoods or towns, just no doctors that can afford to be in the ACA as the plan does not have doctors in those towns, why? because the plan is already failed.

You may resume your glue sniffing now

The repeal of ACA would cause more people to be without insurance than the 2.6 million who lost coverage under ACA and the closure of many rural clinics and hospital.

UM, YEAH, POOR PEOPLE THAT SHOULDN'T HAVE INSURANCE IN THE FIRST PLACE. THEY BASICALLY KICKED RICH MAKERS OFF OF INSURANCE AND GAVE THEIR MONEY TO LEECHES.

The poor have always had Medicaid. Plus, there are public health departments in every county in the country. Free healthcare, free babies, free hospitalization, free birth control pills and depo shots (that's why there's no need for additional taxpayer dollars needed for Planned "baby-killing" Parenthood).

I just turned 65 last week, so now I receive the Medicare that I worked for from age 16 to deserve.

For the last 4 years I was forced into O-care that I couldn't afford to use. So, I'll now be seeing a doctor for the 1st time in about 4 years. I didn't get to keep the cheap little plan I had with BCBSFL for years which was 50 bucks a month premium with $20 copays...THANKS FOR THE LIE, BAMA! (not)
I seem to remember you posting your age, and I knew you were near Medicare eligibility. So you didn't get insurance from an employer? You were in the individual market, or was your $50/month what your employer charged you?

There is no such thing as an ACA plan

Now now...calm down. There is no such thing as 'free hospitalization'. Hospitals love the ACA, because their losses from EMTALA regulations have been slashed because so many more people have coverage.

I was not insured by an employer. I'm an independent contractor. I (myself) only had to pay $50/mo premium.

Of course he is. Can't you see he's yelling?
If a poor person has Medicaid, that person doesn't pay anything. Even if they are up a little bit on the sliding scale, they can just refuse to ever pay and it becomes a write-off.

I used to work in the public health dept. here in Florida. My job? Insurance billing.

If you worked in a hospital, you would know that all costs for EMTALA patients is not compensated. But, for the sake of argument, what's the difference between the Feds paying for EMTALA compensation, or paying for Medicaid which has been a huge benefit to reducing hospital costs for treatment of the uninsured?

And why did you have to pay for insurance, if you worked in public health? No pension, or are you not telling us that the $50 was your share of the premium? Or were you hired as a sub contractor there?

You aren't paying attention. Hospitals have been closing at an alarming clip. But your ignorance knows no bounds.

Oh my gosh! I said I USED to work for the h.d. That ended in 2011 and I became an independent contractor.

Why did it end, you might ask??????

Because of all the slackers driving up to the h.d. in Escalades getting free medicine, free visits, free maternity care, free baby deliveries, free child care, free baby formula, etc. drained the state thus creating layoffs. I didn't work the 6 years needed to become vested (only worked 5 1/2 years there). I have no pension, no IRA, no 401K. I then bought my own health insurance, paid for with my own money earned by working since then as an independent contractor!

How many ways and how many times does this have to be spelled out to you people? Nothing is free from the Feds or the State.....Taxpayers have been, are and will be paying other peoples' bills along with our own bills. That is the bottom line.
