There has been GROUP identity in every society long before Karl Marx was even born.

Little to nobody in the modern West is pushing for equity. There are some people pushing for less inequality, but virtually nobody is trying to eliminate inequality altogether.

This alone debunks the conspiracy theory that Marxists have taken over the media and used it to brainwash the masses into accepting Marxism. The truth is that Marxism is practically non-existent in the West.
There have always been things that were socially taboo to talk about.
And is this really tyranny? It's politically incorrect to talk about incest, but you legally can do so anyway. "Big Brother" won't come arrest you.
