I think those things do make us socialists and there is nothing wrong with it. Bernie has the right idea. We need to embrace the word. We have nothing to fear but fear itself. Embracing the word will take the pox off it. And that's fine. We are not losing our capitalism. All we are doing is being honest about it. We have both capitalism and socialism and there's nothing wrong with that. Most countries do. We have been letting the right define this term, call it bad for too long. It's not bad. It's a good thing. Socialism is nothing more than society getting organized and doing good things for itself on a volume basis, just like capitalism does. That's how capitalism lowers prices. Volume. That makes the delivery of products and services more affordable, more efficient. Nothing wrong with efficiency.

We need to think of socialism in a whole new way.
