It doesn't matter. The crux of the issue here is the fact that you claimed I wasn't arguing in the thread in question against putting the guy to death. I was. You were wrong about that and you put a statement in quotes and attributed it to me dishonestly. I did not say the guy shouldn't be jailed, even for the rest of his natural life. The death penalty was what was suggested and I said the crime didn't warrant that punishment.

You lied or you were unclear but presented my opinion incorrectly without regard for the truth of what you were saying.

Dano supports the death penalty. There is no doubt of that.

No more than the fact that I have never advocated the Death Penalty and only the most unobservant dolt could possibly think that I have.

There is also no doubt that you said that the crime would not be as heinous because the baby wouldn't remember it. I think you are wrong, the crime is even more heinous because of the innocence of the victim.

I don't care how the baby would be "damaged" in your estimation. I care how society would be damaged if we allowed ourselves to measure by the memory of victims rather than the truly heinous nature of the crime.

The person should never breathe even one moment of free air. Should never again see the sun except filtered through prison bars. Should never leave their prison until they are dead. Should never again be allowed into regular society.

You keep lying. No, you didn't say I argued for more leniency. The guy was sentenced I don't remember how, but it probably wasn't stiff enough. I argued he shouldn't be put to death, which was far more severe than what he was actually sentenced to.
