I was able to answer the question. The GOP wants to privatize it. They've been talking about it for decades. Now they might have a shot. They have both houses of Congress and the Executive. During his last administration Trump was able to buy himself the Supreme Court. There is literally nothing that will stop them.

If Trump doesn't keep every one of his promises to you, you were played by a conman. And if he does it will destroy the country.

No, what Trump has promised to do will likely BANKRUPT social security but he isn't planning on cutting it directly.

He has promised to cut out all taxes on SS benefits. That sounds cool to me because I'm close to using them. Only problem is is that it cuts revenue that the SS fund needs to stay solvent. It will end up gutting SS.

Six of one, half a dozen of the other.
