No one said they did. JFK took a lot of blowback for hiring his brother, an actual litigator, to be AG. Meanwhile Trump appointed his daughter and son-in-law to advisory positions to the President and now he's appointing his disgraced ex-felon father of his son-in-law to be Ambassador to France as well as about a dozen people all of whom are either under suspicion of sexual crimes or under investigation for something else.

I see why JFK was kind of in the wrong to appoint his brother. But I guess appointing every family member and every pedo one could want as well as pardoning the criminals in the world only to appoint them to jobs is OK.

I can see the OBVIOUS equivalence.

Not destroying the FBI because he knows they are a solid line of defense against terrorists and nations hostile to the United States? Not raising the National Debt? Continue not building his wall? Not ending birthright citizenship?

Until the Party of Trump successfully reduces the age of consent to 13, lots of MAGAt nominees should be worried about the skeletons in their closet. :)
