The term national relates to where you were born. You automatically become a national by being born in that country. Thus, nationality has to do with the relationship you have with your place of birth and is frequently viewed as racially or ethically linked. Your nationality cannot be changed because it is innate.
What does it mean to be a national from a country?
It means, anyone born in the territory of the country is awarded nationality of that country.

No it does not. It means you are related to that country. It often, but not always means you are a citizen of that country.
By US laws, that is usually correct. A lot of other countries do not have birth right citizenship. So there are third generation people born in Germany that are Turkish nationals, and Irish Americans who are Irish nationals even though neither they, nor their parents have ever been to Ireland.
