This is just sick

The acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree

I liked Ron a lot but felt he was a bit of a wackadoodle...and became more of a wackadoodle as he aged.

Still, in a country where both parties are more interested in representing themselves than most Americans, I'll keep looking. For now, I'm sticking with the Libertarian Party as the best contender for a common sense conservative-leaning party based upon the principles of practical reasoning, not passion and emotion.

Me too

I would research all the content I knew would be on the test

I would write it all down as small as I could onto a sheet of paper and carry it everywhere and study it every free second I had

At work

Waiting in line somewhere

In the bathroom

everywhere

Every spare second

....and if you found a person who deliberately tried to tube your effort or saw them deliberately misinform others, what would be your opinion of their character?

Less than zero

I never met someone who I thought was doing that

There is a chance I did meet someone doing that

But just assumed they were fucking idiots with bad info

An excellent point. One point is an example but two points define a line. That could be tested by the final test results; if he scored low like the other dummies, it's bad info. If he scores high, he's a lying scumbag. Results count.

In the grand scheme of things, whether one scores ten or 20 points higher on the GRE or LSAT than fellow students is not going to determine the trajectory of career achievement.

I never listened to rumours of what was supposedly going to be on a test. I was pretty confident that I was the best person to decide for myself how to prepare for an exam.
Agreed if we're talking about a single data point; a single event.

OTOH, a pattern of behavior doing such things, and it seems he's the type, is indicative of a highly immoral person.

Currently, I'm interested in looking at those leaving Congress to follow Trump. Cruz would take a job as Trump's personal handyman. Rand stood up against Trump before but has Trump broken Rand?

The entire conservative position was a lie to begin with

It was merely designed to fool people into voting against their own interests to benefit the wealthy

It wouldn't be the first time the slick have bamboozled the ignorant and stupid.

Too bad Rand is such a chickenshit he won't be on the frontlines of the Civil War where someone can blow his fucking head off.

In response, Paul said that he "never, ever cheated" and did not condone the practice, but added: "But I would sometimes spread misinformation. This is a great tactic. Misinformation can be very important."

Paul then described how he and some classmates would spread misinformation to students they viewed as competitors and send them down the wrong path during exam prep.

"We just started spreading the rumor that we knew what was on the test, and it was definitely going to be all about the liver, everything, a vast majority of the questions all about the liver," he said. "We tried to trick all of our competing students into over-studying for the liver and not studying for the kidney and every other organ."

"That's my advice, misinformation works," Paul said.

Warmongering. Bulverism.

I was never competing against anyone but myself in college, I studiously avoided talking about grades and test scores with other students, and it wouldn't even cross my mind to try to sabotage other students.

So that's how you learned to deny physics and discard history, eh?

Good for you. Me neither. It takes a specific lack of morals to sabotage another person's education. I used to respect Rand Paul but ever since 2016, I've lost all respect for him and would be happy to walk my dog on his grave....the sooner the better. Jus' sayin'.

Bulverism. Hate speech. No argument presented.
