C'mon. They have not allowed an election in a couple of decades. They knew they would lose. They could have one now though. The attackers were not from Gaza. They came in through the tunnels and attacked the Israelis. Then most fled back to Egypt and other ME countries.

And you wish to ignore any and all acts of terrorism and war and pretend that the actions of Hamas as representatives do not reflect on those that elect them. I disagree. The length of this "war" is all on those they elected, produce the hostages and surrender, they can still save those people.

Pretending that makes it better is just imaginary, they elected representatives that ran on a platform of genocide against the Jews and refuse peace at every turn, mostly because they refuse to change the edict that Jews should be cleansed from the area entirely.

Wish in one hand and spit in the other, let's see how fast they each fill up.

They need to pressure their government to act in their behalf rather than to act against them. If they want peace there is one guaranteed path to it.

The Palestinians that elected Hamas to fight the Jewish fascists on their behalf must share responsibility for the actions of their ' government '- likewise the Jews that elected genocidal fascists to the Knesset must share responsibility for ethnic cleansing, genocide and the other war crimes perpetuated by the scum they elected. The difference is that Hamas was elected to repel invasion and the Knesset scum were elected to invade.

The jew state is in systemic collapse. Well over 1 million European jews have already fled israel. The fighters who remain are Brooklyn zionists who were promised free Palestinian land. There will be no jew state by 2038.

Yet it was the Palestinians that invaded, deliberately targeted civilians, often children and the elderly, dragged the victims through the streets while screaming euphorically about how much greater their god is, illegally used hospitals as military headquarters in order to use them as shields, illegally forced civilians to stay after evacuation warnings were sent to use them as shields....

They have much to answer for in this particular "war". Hamas does not have any moral high ground and are the elected representatives of the people.

The Jews murdered hundreds of Palestinians during 2023, 200 in the month before October. October 7th was a reprisal operation.
Efforts to paint that reprisal as the ' start ' of events will always be met with hollow laughter.

Today, cowardly prosemites invent horrors associated with that reprisal in an effort to create a fig-leaf for the unforgivable slaughter of 23,000 kids and 20,000 others, mainly women. That's an understandable position for cowards to take- but it will never rescue the Jews from the worldwide condemnation they deserve- nor from the resulting punishment. Unfortunately, decent Jews are suffering from the righteous antisemitism engendered by the Israeli fascists. The Israeli fascists don't mind that at all- as they see themselves as recruiting sergeants for the Israeli ethnic cleansing program.
