Here's a thought experiment for you. Let's say a kid is 16 or 17 or so and gets a summr job. If the parents want to educate the child some parents will ask for a portion of their earnings for their room and board. Obviously not a large amount. The idea is to educate the "child" in the ways of the world. The parent may give the money back to the child and even contribute more if it's for education. Again, the point is to show the "child" there are bills to pay when one works.
Is that taking advantage of the "child" or teaching them about life?
