I think her sentence is a fair compromise for all parties. If she weren't British she'd have been beaten and/or jailed for a substantial amount of time. She stays in prison for a week or so and then gets sent back home. the gov't gets to say it punished her to try to quell most of the poeple and she gets the heck out of dodge. I completely understood that. I think the gov't just wants the entire thing over with, its these fundies rioting in the streets that have an issue.
