Remember whose idea it was. And you know what else? They could possibly find a crime they have jurisdiction over—if they look hard enough.

The State of Maryland and local Chevy Chase authorities are considering opening up their own criminal investigations now. And a civil lawsuit has already been filed by a victim in that state against him by one of his sexual abuse victims.

...inferences can be drawn.

I imagine some people will say "No" to them

That is what they will report...and the senators will be able to make of it what they will.

Ford herself said she'd cooperate with an FBI check on herself. She said this even before the hearing. Repubs said a big negatory to that.
 
Donald Trump should withdraw his nomination, if he was smart! We are still weeks away from the election, and normal good candicates for the job, would sail through Congress in less than a week, if he would just choose another Gorsuch type.

But no, he won't! He'll fight, he'll circle the wagons- call it another witch hunt and try to carry this baggage. Huge mistake because now he is going to end up empty handed!

I didn't know that she herself got it up and running so I looked it up. All of the accounts were set up by supporters. The two main ones are no longer accepting donations.

And FTR Kavanaugh has his own slew of GoFundMe accounts up and running.
