Trump was so kind and deferential to the leaders of communist China and North Korea, but always so belligerent and insulting to our allies in Western Europe, Canada, Australia.

Glad we agree it came from a Chinese lab in Wuhan and it was released on purpose. I love agreement. You know at else doesn't age well?

I don't buy that it was released on purpose, I believe that it escaped from the Wuhan lab due to extreme carelessness. The FBI also believes that true as well.
 
Last month, Trump lead DeSantis by 6 points among Republicans. That same poll now has Trump up 18. He isn't gone. He is the presumptive nominee.
 
The idea this was done on purpose is absolutely idiotic. Why would the Chinese Government release a virus for which they had no vaccine? They wouldn't of course. China's economy has suffered far more than any other in the world. And the death toll is incalculable.

I don't believe China manufactured the virus, but I do not believe they have been transparent or cooperative by any stretch.

Blame them, I do not know. I do know that Trumps base does not agree with the quote, not by a long shot.

You guys sure love making assumptions about me and putting words in my mouth.

Notice the question marks? On the three year 'anniversary' of COVID this sure looks like anti-China rhetoric couched as being anti-Trump.

So again, anti-China rhetoric is cool as long as its couched as anti-Trump. Helps explains why #StopAAPIhate would trend only after certain acts but not others (i.e. - the perceived politics or race of the perpetrators).

I don't disagree in the least that China is not above reproach but it was this type of anti-China rhetoric that supposedly drove AAPI hate. So how do you justify using it?
