It is artificial, it was released from a lab...or labs, and Wuhan may have been one of them. Understand what happened here, this was a biologic attack. IMO.

Tariffs are a tax on importers with the intent of pushing up prices. So if Walmart buys an item from a Chinese company for $1, and we put a 50% tax on that item, it now costs Walmart $1.50. Walmart might try to swallow the loss, but will usually pass on the increased cost in increased prices.

We cannot actually tax the Chinese, because by definition they are in China. China is this other country, that has their own rules for taxing. Their courts and law enforcement will not enforce our taxes.

You might ask about taxing Chinese assets in the USA? If we tax all Chinese assets in the USA unfairly, then the Chinese will stop investing in the USA. It will cost us dearly. We are pushing the limits of sanctions right now.
