This should be a law

The actual numbers aren't that great, and even of that a good number are snowbirds, who return home every April. And if it wasn't for that "leftist ideology" the United States would look like Kansas, dwindling away in mediocrity

In 2012, Brownback and the Conservatives cut taxes in Kansas. Those tax cuts ended up erasing Kansas' Highway Fund, eliminating its budget surpluses, spiking tuition for the State University system, increasing out-of-pocket costs to those on Medicaid, and reducing its credit rating as a result.

Then a few years later, some Republicans joined Democrats to repeal those tax cuts. Once they did, Kansas' budget suddenly turned a surplus.

Tax Cuts are failed policy. Period.

Elements of both. But they only have a .50 correlation with IQ tests. That means they only account for about 25% of the variance.

That is, if you accept the non-science behind a subjective measurement of intelligence.

IQ tests are bogus.

They're on the same level of those Buzzfeed tests to find out which combination of Game of Thrones and Avengers characters you are.

Nonsensical. The same test is used for both. IQ is not part of the test, and college admissions another! The same test doesn't cause a variance! It is where the number comes from!

We don't complain about that.

Pointing out that most Conservative states are welfare states doesn't mean we're complaining that they're welfare states.

Why do you think it is?

All States are 'welfare' States. All States receive government funding. California receives a LOT of government funding!

And Kansas is doing pretty good. The only place that's having 'problems' is the bloat in government! Good riddance!

Government budgets are not productive. Kansas government SHOULD have had budget problems. They are too big.

Yeah, and Obama's national GDP growth without a tax cut was better than Kansas' GDP growth with a tax cut.

Tax cuts never deliver on any of the promises made of them.

False equivalence. You are going to actually try to compare a national GDB with the GDB of a single State???:laugh::laugh:

All States are 'welfare' States. All States receive government funding. California receives a LOT of government funding!

California pays more to the treasury in taxes that it receives in government funding.

So California is not a welfare state.

Mississsippi is. Kansas is. Utah is. Wyoming is. Kentucky is. North Carolina is. South Carolina is. Georgia is. Arkansas is. Louisiana is. Nebraska is. North Dakota is. South Dakota is. Montana is. Idaho is. Iowa is. Tennessee is. Florida is. West Virginia is. Alaska is. Oklahoma is. Arizona is.

All those states receive more federal funding than they contribute in revenues to the Treasury.
