Nah, instead of discussing the current disaster of a president and vice president
and their disastrous foreign policy blunder and shredding of the Constitution, let's talk about some guy from Texas that is running for president although he lacks any actual support from the people in the party he is a part of and won't win more than 10% of a single state in the primary season.

How about that?

Better use of time in my opinion. I don't think you'll find any of Ron Paul's supporters disagreeing with you about Iraq, Iran, or wiretapping. It's an area where we are pretty firmly on your side.

At some point it just becomes a circle jerk.
 
Yeah, sorry about that; I guess I am a little obsessed w/ the guy who probably took 40-50 years off of our term as a superpower, and the war that took just about every other pressing issue off the table for the past few years.

We really should be talking about more significant newsmakers, like Hugo Chavez & Ron Paul....

RS, to be honest, I've posted my share of silly threads, and meaningless trivia.

But, I simply think this war, the attacks on the constitution (occassionally abetted by the Dems), and the McCarthy-esque tactics of fear and intimidation are the worst things I've seen happening in this country in my life time.

And I lived through the crimes of the Reagan regime! ;)
 
Well, this is a tangent from the important discussion I was having above but...

It is not as if we don't ever talk about these subjects. Plus, there aint many here taking the other side.

Your fifty threads per day for the last 3 years about Iraq have probably done the trick.

Seriously who are you trying to convince these days? Everyone agrees with you except for your party's Congress. Talk to them. Libertarians have been anti-war consistently.
 
Maybe because thay are ashamed to have been enablers for this mess.

In any case the thrashing of the Bush enablers is not over.
