time person of the year redux

Trump was never in actuality the underdog anyway, the state polls in the Midwest were just bad (the national polls were actually pretty accurate, millions more Americans didn't want him to be president than wanted him to be). There is no such thing as an underdog, there is only underestimation. I hate when the polls are biased towards my side, there's nothing in the world more annoying than expecting to win and losing.

Do your fucking job pollsters, if you would've told the truth Clinton wouldn't campaigned more in Wisconsin and we could've avoided this. Really, inaccurate polls were more to trumps advantage than Clinton's, they caused her to misallocate resources.

I bet they were in on it with trump. Fuck over Hillary Clinton, then play a giant sappy underdog story out of the deal. Disgusting.

LMAO if it's anyone other than Trump. Hitlery losing the election doesn't make her person of the year. Its all trump.

you can bet your ass a lot of clinton voters might not have turned out to vote because they thought she was 98% to win according to the huff post.

Nate Silver was off, but I never felt actively misled by him. If you read what he wrote, he always said that Clinton's electoral college position was weaker than her popular vote one, and that she was just a polling error away from losing. In the podcast he warned that the polling in Michigan was bad, and that the polling in Wisconsin and Minnesota was non-existent (Wisconsin actually went Trump to a greater degree than Michigan).

Still, there were all those stupid models that had her at like the 99% favorite. I don't even know where they were getting their data, that clearly wasn't the case.

I mean, I can take it when the polls are against me and I lose. But that like never happens. Just because I support something, it seems, automatically the polls will be on my side but we will lose massively. God does this just to fuck with me. God hates me.

I really should become a Trump supporter, so that he will lose the next election.
