No suicide is good IMO. But... The US population is 335 million, and approximately 0.08% of the population identifies as trans; and in 2022 (latest year I could find) 49,000 people died by suicide. If 0.04% of those suicides were trans, we're talking 1,960 people. I don't see how this has more of a negative impact than the other 47,000 who are not trans.Well, given that trans people have a near 50% suicide rate, I'd say yes, they have a negative impact on society. No other group in humanity has a suicide rate close to that. Trans persons obviously have some mental illness going on and need serious and effective treatment to deal with their problems.
