The Demonkkkrat Party (and its supporters) haven't changed one bit. In the 1860s, Demonkkkrats wanted to keep taking advantage of the labor of "blacks" to pick their cotton for them. Nowadays, in the 2020s, they want to keep taking advantage of the labor of illegal aliens to pick their cotton for them.

Different era, yet the very same thirst to import foreigners and exploit them for "cheap labor".

She received 85% of the vote. Her position is very safe. Due to Texas gerrymandering, her position can only grow stronger. Republicans need to stick as many Democratic voters in her district as possible.

There are machines that pick cotton these days. Besides, the areas that grow cotton are heavily Republican, not Democratic. Farmers are generally Republican.
