Today marks the 150th anniversary of the birth of Winston Churchill, whose unique resolve (for all his many faults) changed the history of the world for the better, in my estimation.
Like myself, Sir Winston changed his political affiliation when he felt circumstances warranted.
I believe that the nearest Thursday to this date each year should become an annual international day of thanksgiving.
