According to the Alan Guttmacher Institute, black women are more than 5 times as likely as white women to have an abortion

On average, 1,876 black babies are aborted every day in the United States.

A highly significant 1993 Howard University study showed that African American women over age 50 were 4.7 times more likely to get breast cancer if they had had any abortions compared to women who had not had any abortions.

The same thing could be said about almost any class in the field of social science. If you're not using them as a means to challenge inform your opinion - instead of as your opinion -, you've got some problems.

Oh...bullshit. Sociology is based upon empirical data compiled through observation, interviews, and crossreferencing different ethnicities, socioeconomic groups, cultures, religions and races. Psychology is based upon empirical data compiled from counselor/patient studies over the years.

You don't learn about people by sticking your head in the sand.
