Toy contaminated with 'date rape' drug pulled

How hard are the heads of those who actaully believe that an unregulated market will be good for us ?

I just dont understand how anyone can really think this? Where in history has this EVER shown to be true? It is without question the opposite. I just have to think that anyone who touts this idea is either stupid or a lying sack of shit looking to profit off someone elses vulnerability.

I agree. History has in fact repeatly show the opposite to be true. Unregulated business always eventually has to be regulated, until it is once more deregulated..The cycle of stupidity continues.

After a long time of scratching heads and pondering this, some libertarians cited the nomadic and barter societies of ancient pre-history, on another thread. A compeling argument for libertariansim indeed. :)

No regulations, and no inspections.

Let the free market sort it out.

Good point cypress. Once enough kids die, it hits the media and people will just choose to stop buying the product. The invisible hand at work, regulations just mucks it all up. It’s self-regulating!

LOL, Oh yeah I had forgotten that.

Lets go back to the barter system. Hmm would pretty much kill the stock market as traders have no real produced objects to trade.

You finally get it! :clink:

Exactly. I'm sure the parents of those comatose children have the exact same sentiment.

What sad is that it would be almost impossible to avoid all Chinese products as a result of the latest slew of findings.

They have executed people in China for such offenses and yet they keep doing such shit. Can you imagine if we gave death sentances to corporate heads here?

All I'd like to know is how I can I avoid Chinese made products. This is getting ridiculous. If I had kids I'd be afraid to buy them toys made there.

This is one of the toys I didn't buy when the girls saw the commercial and suddenly "needed" it. It just looked stupid and probably would have been used twice before put on a shelf and never seeing the light of day until I cleaned out the closet.

I can't wait to hear from Dano how this is the fault of liberalism.
Hmmm....

Let me try.

If there weren't unions, the products would still be made in the US as the US worker would be making a more "competitive" salary...

I WIN!
