Good thing you didn't get it! That's so scary. And then we wonder why kids have have cancer and autism at alarming rates.

Well, they've been eating that lead paint. It seems like the Chinese are purposefully trying to poison us. We have to refuse to purchase their products at every opportunity.

I'm glad you said that! I was worried that I was starting to become paranoid but it's kind of hard to believe that at least some of this wasn't deliberate. Look at what's come to light just in the past year! I stopped buying anything from China that I possibly could (stop) after picking up a barbecue set, the sauce brush of which smelled very strongly of mothballs, a poison. Even if it was just poor judgment on their part, the consequences to anyone using such a product would have been the same. There have just been too many different things to have any confidence in anything they do.

Besides, we don't see massive recalls of products from India, do we!?
 
I dunno thorn I have been doing some "recalls" lately on some software written over there that was pretty bad.

Umm It would sort of have killed me had I let it go to production status :)
Well my job and a few others anyway.

twice as many programmers outsourced in India as we had here doing the same job, and it takes twice as long to get right....Plus they do not work our hours....

Oh well the job pays well and I get to work remote.
 
Some company out there HAS to be smart enough to gather all non-Chinese products together and start selling them as "Not Made in China", they'll kill this Christmas season.

Yeah. In that article I posted I think someone who owns a store was pulling everything from her shelf. The only problem with that is, that at some point whether its a part or even the paint of the material may have chinese traces.

I'd rather a trace in a product that still makes a clear point when purchasing it than more poison for my children/pets/table.
