Nope. The point is saying Obama is progress, implies that no blacks were qualified to be president in the past, but finally Obama reached that level. It is insulting to blacks. Rock is suggesting that Obama shows evolvment by whites. Blacks knew better. They were well aware that many blacks in our history were capable of doing the job.
