Trump allies eye overhauling Medicaid, food stamps in tax legislation

They only work for non-violent and low level inmates.

No reason why they shouldn't step up, is there?

so? Trump tried to take over the government with violence.

President-elect Donald Trump’s economic advisers and congressional Republicans have begun preliminary discussions about making significant changes to Medicaid, food stamps and other federal safety net programs to offset the enormous cost of extending Trump’s 2017 tax cuts next year.

When they do away with ACA, that removes a 3.8% tax on the ultra wealthy's windfall investment gains. That money helped to fund the Medicaid expansion. Ironically, those who need it the most voted for trump. This will be glorious.

So Biden kept all of Trumps tax cuts. Now it is a problem. Hmmmmm.

If the government is has the exclusive, sole, single, payer of healthcare expenses then they have a MONOPOLY! How fucking hard is that to understand?
The government is not considered a company. It is a government. It is one of those ipso facto things that the alt right finds so hard to understand.

If governments were companies, they would be monopolies... sort of. There usually is only one government per level of government.

A monopoly is a monopoly, be it run by the private sector or government. The fewer government monopolies the better.
