Trump and truth

Quite apart from his political acts, one thing that Trump seems to be trying to do is redefine truth so that it means whatever he says at the moment. What he said last year or even last week, he didn't say; it's down the "memory hole" and those who insist on pointing it out are the Enemy. Whether he does this from ignorance or malice I don't know, but it seems that around one in three Americans are dazzled enough to go along with it.

This been tried before, although not in America I think. It never works in the long term.

There is something really wrong with this Orange fat ass.
I have never seen a politician lie as relentlessly, and not only that, but then lie about lying. It is really quite remarkable!

It's kinda amazing how Americans once called out nations for their lying leaders now apologize for Trumps's constant lies, think China and Russia. But republicans and conservatives who still worship Donnie john are not going to be convinced by reason or debate. Trump is their savior, he speaks for them - or so they think. Oddly Trump wants to be seen as smart and as a member of the elite, but his crude personality doesn't allow it, so he still longs for praise and feeds his followers with BS. Weird and kinda un-American but as I wrote in the emasculated male, the white male in America has grown resentful and in need of a hero. Trump gives them that empty courage even when it is phony.

"It is always the enemy who started it, even if he was not the first to speak out, he was certainly planning it; and if he was not actually planning it, he was thinking of it; and, if he was not thinking of it, he would have thought of it." Elias Canetti 'Crowds and Power'

That is so stupid. Those agencies are full of people who are dedicated and risk their loves to find out facts. It was bad when Hoover was running them. but it is a solid agency now. Mueller and Comey are both lifetime Republicans who are far more honest than Trump. They have excellent reputations and known for doing their jobs as fairly as possible. You need to find a country that meets your standards. The US isn't for you.
