Trump/Biden - again?

It feels like we're careening toward this outcome. Does anyone want this?

This would be a terrible race for the country. The campaign itself will be as toxic and uninspiring as anything even Hollywood could conjure.

Right now, I'm just not seeing the candidates who can come out of the wings somewhere to change this narrative. Democrats inexplicably seem reluctant to challenge Biden, and Republicans (just as inexplicably) seem absolutely terrified of challenging Trump. Sure, DeSantis is out there - but it feels like his campaign is already over. Just not ready for the big stage.

America has to do better than this. We wonder why things have been getting worse. We need more transformational, intelligent & visionary leaders.

I think the Biden team has done a very good job, but I also think he is too old.

I wish he would stand down, but he won’t.

I think the Biden team is better than anyone with a chance on the Republican side.

I think Biden has been a decent enough caretaker. We just needed some return to normalcy after Trump, and he's done a solid job, despite what the right says.

But he isn't inspiring, and agreed that he is too old. I'm not seeing yet who in the Dem party can step up.

He is not the type of president that is inspiring, it’s not a requirement in order to be a good president. He is a caretaker not transformational.

DOJ has to indict Trump for the violent coup and sedition. Only way to prevent Trump from running.

You are obviously afraid of Brandon's candidacy. With a 20 million votes lead, you should be doing somersaults with happiness not fretting about Trump.

Wanna try any others? Or is this just a super-cutesy inference that Biden "stole" the election and there was no way he could have gotten so many votes? Because, ya know, he never left the basement and all.

it makes no difference to me who beats Biden......as least with Trump we know we have a candidate who did a great job and isn't bothered by the constant lies from the left........if you want someone better than Biden or Trump your first step is to get someone other than Biden to run......

He ended a near 2-decade war, inflation is stabilizing (that's something he inherited, btw - anyone who understands basic economics knows that isn't a "just add water" thing), and over 12 million jobs have been added under his admin. After the worst jobs Presidency in modern times. He has also led the world response to Russia's aggression in the Ukraine, and kept that country independent.

I would never argue that Biden is a great President. But he's done a decent job w/ the terrible circumstances that he inherited.

A great job? He was the worst jobs President in modern history. He handled his only crisis abysmally. He tried to overturn a legitimate election, and inspired an insurrection.

He did a terrible job. He'll go down as a bottom 5 President in history - possibly as the worst.

no....he didn't inherit inflation......I know it isn't an add water thing.......it's a subtract fossil fuel thing......he DID inherit the 12 million jobs though......creating jobs wasn't an adding water thing either......it was a subtracting taxes thing.......and he didn't lead the world in opposing Putin.....after encouraging Putin with his mild incursion statement demonstrated lack of NATO unity on repercussions he flailed along with weak sanctions after the EU embarrassed him by acting first.......
(we all noticed you dodged the border problem.......all demmycrats do).......

he did a better job than every president in the last forty years except for the impact of Covid in 2020......and Biden did worse than Trump dealing with THAT even though the vaccine was found before he was inaugurated......cope.....

we both know that if Trump is leading the country from 1/25 through 12/29 or if ANY Republican is) this country will be better off than if the Pasty Faced Pedophile is still in the Oval Office......

the only thing in your favor is that even Demmycrats realize Biden could never win a constitutional election and will likely find someone else to run......

Even before COVID, Trump wasn't a very good President. Because he botched that, it made him bottom 5.

Part of the job of President is to help the country navigate the crisis situations that inevitably come up. He failed. And the country is better off today - for at least 12 million people who are working again. If Trump won re-election, we'd be worse off. He is incompetent.
