He plays long shows, which is the basis of his following; big fucking deal....so does every bar band in the US many of which zare far better players than four-chord Springsteen.
Might be your boss, couldn't even make the band amongst truly great players.

I'd say he sounds like one of the best selling artists of our time.
But I guess putting out 21 albums over 6 decades, selling 140 million albums, plus winning 2 Golden Globes and an Academy Award, while being a member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is meaningless if he disagrees with your political views?
It always amuses me that these pencil-necks ignore everything but specific political views, and judge everything by that scale.

Don't get me wrong, I have most of BS's albums; and when I play them his voice sounds great. Springsteen in 2006, however, sounds dreadful - he is murdering his old hits. Someone should have taken him aside and told him it was time to gracefully retire from public performances years ago.

Springsteen, however, is a good song writer. Manfred Mann did several of his songs far better than Springsteen ever could.
