Trump lied so outrageously to Todd Sunday. He claimed jailing kids was an established policy during Obama and he ended it. What crap. Obama was very careful with kids, only holding those who came unaccompanied by adults or whose parentage could not be proven. Obama people say they cannot prove that a kid or a few were held inappropriately, but it was not policy and not done brutally like Trump. Trump took thousands from their parents and shipped them around the country . He is denying them basic care that kids need during an important period of development. How big a mess will these kids be without attachments to their parents and family. This policy is creating monsters. It is cruel.
 
Dirty kids not even allowed to take a bath.

Being barely fed non nutritious food.

No bed. Sleeping on the floor.

Held in cages like animals.

We are talking about the party that were the prime architects of the Iraq War, but then claimed in 2016 that they need to support peacenik, flower hippie child Donald Trump in his struggle against war monger HIllary clinton.

I think hypocrisy and flip flopping is par for the course in politics and both parties can be guilty of it

The Republican party has been the party of government control over women's personal choices and their bodies, forcing them to have children they don't want, but then offering no assistance for those families they forced to exist after the children are born.

Republicans could have great arguments with themselves. I always like those comedy segments where they show GWB arguing with himself by taking clips of things he has said at different times. It was sadly funny then, but now it's so easy to do it with Trump quotes it's just sad. And all the while Republicans eat it up, champion whatever position he takes at the moment.

And arguing both opposing views tooth and nail at every instance!

(example: the debt during Obama and the debt during Trump)

True, but it seems Republicans make an art form of it. Although it was funny to watch Hillary first support the TPP, and then, when she learned that Bernie was polling highly against it, took the opposite stance.
