M'eh, If Biden were saying it it would be in the middle of a time where he told us that he just spoke to a dead leader somewhere and tried to shake the curtain's hand. But yeah, we would have laughed about it for days. It wouldn't be a sign of dementia without the shuffling and the shaking of ghostly hands to go with it though.
Having family going through dementia right now (not kidding) really cemented Biden's dementia for me. So far just a few words out of place, about as many as I have had lately, for Trump. I don't see it yet, but I will be all over that like white on rice when I do. I mean, nobody thought Obama had dementia when he told us he had visited 58 states and still hadn't gone to Hawai'i and Alaska because his staff said "no"... But it was funny.
So, yeah. I'd laugh a lot at this. But I need more than just some small word gaffes to know in my bones, like I did with Biden, that the man has dementia.

Could be a beginning. An early symptom.
If he starts avoiding afternoon pressers unless there is a helicopter overhead to blame for his misunderstandings, shuffling and tripping on flat surfaces, incapable of speaking without a teleprompter or crotch notes, tells stories about his uncle being eaten by non-existent cannibals insulting an entire nation of folks, tells more stories about the leader that's been dead for two decades and him having a conversation last Wednesday, has to take months off to prepare for a 20 minute presser that he still messes up, and is clearly taking speed to keep his brain functioning during speeches... if all those things are happening, I will believe the man has dementia.
One word misstep among a zillion hours of the man talking... not so much.
It could be an early symptom, but at this point I do not know like I did with Biden.
