I'm curious... All you have to do to get rid of Trump is wait. He can't run again. It's not going to be like putting up Braindead for "another" term. This: "this will be the downfall" stuff... what's the point?

I'd prefer we do well despite the actions of the person we have in office (like I did with Braindead). I would never cheer on 14% inflation thinking it would be the "downfall" of the idiot in office, I would wish we got it under control regardless of how stupid I think the moron is holding the office.

We were talking about this immigration mess this morning. Mr. Owl said he'd heard that a growing number of true conservatives (as opposed to MAGATs, was my impression) are not in favor of Trump's jackboot tactics or with ICE in general.

Aye ma'am, I have heard that as well. There is only a very small segment of the MAGA base, I'd say about 70% of Republicans experience joy at the scene of grandma getting beat up by trump's thugs. As long as they're brown-skinned, trumptards are hunky-dory with it. I've also heard that trump has directed the thugs mainly to blue cities. I really can't wait until trump dies, or 2028.
 
Just a little personal news:

Closed 2 major deals this morning. Then in 3rd sales meeting I had to excuse myself and head to urgent care - I was sweating profusely and having trouble breathing.

Urgent care ran an EKG and said, "yeah, you really should get up to the ER". Headed to the ER, poked and prodded for 3 hours - turns out they think it might be a blocked artery. Got a referral to a cardiologist for next week, and will probably need one of those "balloon" operations :(

Price of gettin' old!

Cardiologist next week, I'll get fixed, I'm pretty optimistic. Told my boss I'm returning to work tomorrow. As long as it doesn't involve several flights of stairs, I can get around just find.

How referrals work: If they through it was an emergency - I'd be in a hospital bed right now. With referrals, at least on my med plan, it takes a couple of days for the cardiologist to process the referral, so I'm authorized to go. I'm fine. I can get around pretty well, like I said, unless there are 10 flights of stairs - I'm fine
