sure.....you refused to accept any more pay checks from them, I'm sure.......
I only accepted money I worked for. I was never afraid to end my tenure for a better opportunity elsewhere.
One of my great bosses I had along the way told me, "Don't ever expect a promotion to the next level until you have already been working at the next level for some time."
Fortunately, I used that advice to seek employment elsewhere WHEN I WAS ALREADY DOING THE WORK FOR SOME TIME- AT THE NEXT LEVEL.
When I was qualified for better position and pay- I just went out there and acquired it elsewhere.
My line of work always required certifications, As I acquired the necessary certifications through completing the coursework, I became more marketable as my resume suggested!
You have to look after yourself- because one can look after themselves much better than any employer!
Sometimes you have to fire an employer- AND GO HIRE A NEW ONE!
Employment is a two way street!
Learn this and you can promote yourself along the way!
