Trump fires back at Obama, boasts he's got 'magic wand' on economy

I suppose, in theory, some asshole like your god George Soros could do that, but then h'ed be wiping out his investment as well.

Ah, so it is susceptible to market manipulation. So what's the benefit? You can't use it anyway. You said yourself you have to convert it into currency that is accepted by retailers and banks. Why would anyone pour any money into what is so obviously a scam?

Again, I have a relatively meager holding in Bitcoin. But it's merely part of a large, diverse portfolio.

Don't believe you.

I don't need to watch your youtube

Proudly defending your ignorance? That doesn't look good on your argument.

You don't want to watch anything that might make you question your instincts and judgment.

I have completely destroyed your argument about the benefits of GovCo backed currency manipulation.

You just admitted, one post ago, that literally anyone can manipulate it to screw you over; then you also admitted that you have to convert Bitcoin into currency people actually accept. So you've made two strong arguments against it without even realizing it.

This tactic that you're attempting is called "straw man".

Again, who cares. I've proven my point that the USD has not benefited from QE. All that did was steal from people with cash and savings, and that hurts the lower class like you much more than it does me.

This tactic that you're attempting is called "straw man".

How so? Explain. Explain how I'm building a straw man argument.

You actually constructed a straw man argument by pretending I made a straw man argument.

The irony...Oh the irony...

Again, who cares. I've proven my point that the USD has not benefited from QE

You didn't prove that point. The only thing you submitted was Bitcoin, which isn't even a real currency.

I however showed the dollar's strength against the Yen, Euro, and Ruble.

So it would seem you didn't prove your point and I proved mine by a score of 3-1.

All that did was steal from people with cash and savings, and that hurts the lower class like you much more than it does me.

I don't believe you when you say you're wealthy. I think you're making it all up so your argument has credibility on an anonymous message board.

Secondly, Bitcoin is going to end up with you losing everything.

This guy...what a fucking poseur.

Bitcoin is going to collapse.

You don't have to take my word for it, but maybe you should take theirs:

Marketwatch: If bitcoin is a bubble, the ‘panic’ stage is near: economist

Forbes: Why The Bitcoin Bubble Will Burst In 2018

Coindesk: Bank of America: Bitcoin Bubble Is Already Popping

Bloomberg: Bitcoin, the Biggest Bubble in History, Is Popping

If you want an education on debate technique I suggest that you go to college.

What part of "diverse portfolio" are you having difficulty with?

:oprah:

All of those are paper-backed currencies and can therefore be manipulated.

Gold, per ounce
Jan 2009 1097.88 USD (Begin Obama)
Jan 2017 1257.53 USD (End Obama)

Game, set, and match.
