Do you think I claimed the NYT discovered the Trump trusts engaged in illegal activity? As a reminder, here's the very first phrase I offered in this thread: "Even setting aside the ethical and legal implications of this conduct...." My point hasn't been to focus on whether or not it was illegal, but rather what it says about his utter incompetence as a businessman. His fortune grew at a pace FAR below what plain vanilla investments grew at, in that time period, despite regular massive influxes of money from his filthy-rich father.
