Trump has almost no campaign money

I guess so considering "I'm so rich, I'm worth $10 billion and could self fund $1 billion in this campaign" won't put any real money into his campaign because he's not worth nearly as much as he claims nor does he have nearly enough cash to fund a general election campaign.
or maybe he doesn't feel he needs to. Their isn't bullet proof evidence that the current paradigm for a POTOS campaign is the only one that works.

The general campaign has already started and relatively little money spent yet most voters have probably decided.

Having said that, if that's Trumps strategy it's one hell of a gamble.

Does it really matter? I think the primaries have shown that the normal rules don't apply to Trump. I find it odd that people are complaining about all of those things that they say they don't like about politics like raising money and all of the ads. Trump doesn't do it and the nattering nabobs of negativism are wringing their hands hard enough to get carpal tunnel
That's actually a valid point but the general election is not the primary's. Having a strong ground game can make all the difference in a close election and can turn one into an EV landslide.

I mean for a person with his name recognition it's possible.

I don't know if I agree about most having made up their mind already. We're in a bubble on this board but there really are people who don't follow politics yet do vote. They're the type that don't know who's running until the fall.

If anyone can pull it off it's Trump but I would like to see the Republicans retain control in Congress and that will cost money. I'd rather not see a 2008 repeat which ultimately brought us Obamacare.

I can only speak for myself but I don't complain about money in politics. It's free speech and part of the game. In a perfect world yeah, there would be no money but it's not a perfect world so I'm not on board with liberal desires to limit speech.
I would. We're still far behind the rest of the industrialized world in health care and still need to make two major reforms to catch up.

The rest of the industrialized world is far behind us in military spending and contributing their fair share to world security which allows them to have such generous social benefits at home. Let's see them step up their spending while trying to maintain their same social safety net.

Trump DID pay his way for the primary campaign.....now its the general election campaign, are you really too stupid to get the difference...

never mind, its obvious you are...

Sad that its still money that buys the elections ....
It doesn't but it's a significant advantage.

not really. At least Trump has shown, like it or not, the ability to do something no one else in the GOP establishment has been able to do. Lead.

You're a Democrat. You would love to see a beat down of epic proportions for the Republicans this election.

What exactly has Trump lead on?

i bet that a small percentage of the electorate.

I think history shows otherwise. Look at the polls from June pasts and then compared them to election day.

Edit: It goes without saying of course that yes, partisan Republican and Democrats already know who they are voting for

I don't disagree with that but nevertheless we still major reforms we need to make.

Not a liberal? Are you just going to ignore his long history of supporting the Clintons, government-run healthcare (and single-payer), partial-birth abortion, government abuse of eminent domain, and his constant preference to tell lies and obfuscate?

Having changed on numerous positions myself, I think he has changed. IMO, Trump isn't political. He doesn't fit in a box. This is why he makes such a good populist.

It is ironic that you complain about bullying and calling names and making constant demands of others

Oh well you are the queen of irony

The evil trollop has called me a rapist, a paedophile, an MRA and a misogynist before now, and then she complains about name calling. You just couldn't make that shit up!!

Huh. Mott is this true, or are you one of those Onceler dems who thinks it's time to move the pendulum back or something? No judgement. Can't we all just get along and all that. I'm just curious now that Cawacko mentions it.

I want a Dem sweep, and I want the House back. Without the Senate we have big problems even changing the court. So I want a full sweep the next few elections. I would only want to slightly swing back if the douchebro pitchfork left gained any real control.
