Trump imposes tariff on 180 countries, exempts Russia, Belarus, Cuba and North Korea.

It's already been provided to you. You keep asking the same question over and over again. YOU are broken, dude.
No you have not provided an answer. You went on and on about Mexico and Chinese factories in Mexico. That doesn't explain why Trump put a tariff on an uninhabited island. There are no workers on that island. There are only penguins. There are no Mexicans on that island. There are no Chinese factories on that island. No Chinese factories could ever be built on that island. So you haven't provided any answer at all. All you have provided is deflection and idiocy.

RAAA. (repetitious assertions already addressed)

You have been reduced to a broken record.

If this was all some grand plan to prevent Chinese factories
It's not solely about Chinese factories, but that's one relevant example.
then why did Trump just pause the tariffs?
He didn't "pause the tariffs". You really suck with details.

April 2nd: "Liberation Day" reciprocal tariffs announcement.
April 2nd - April 8th: Lay low and see how the other countries respond to the announcement.
April 9th: After receiving negotiation requests from over 75 countries, Trump decided to "pause the tariffs" on these countries while negotiations occur. This doesn't mean ZERO tariffs; this means that only the baseline 10% tariffs are in effect in the meantime (rather than the "reciprocal tariff" rate that was announced on the 2nd).

IOW, the countries that responded the "correct" way now only get the baseline 10% tariff rate while negotiations occur; meanwhile, the countries that responded the "wrong" way have now seen greatly increased tariff rates and are pushed to the back of the line.
Can you explain that one or are you going to use your idiotic acronyms?
I just did. See above.

Of the 180 countries, including U.S. allies, that are now being hit with retaliatory tariffs, Russia isn't on the list.
Belarus, Cuba and North Korea, other countries that face US sanctions, also weren't hit with reciprocal tariffs.
We don't import from them.
So Trump imposes a 20% tariff on NATO countries but exempts Russia. Can any one that supports Trump explain that?
Trump also imposed tariffs on Ukraine while exempting Russia.
We don't import from them.

We don't import from them.

We don't import from them.
Wow. You really do like to show us all how stupid you are.

Last year the US imported more from Russia than they did from over 100 of the countries that Trump imposed a tariff on.

Thank you for agreeing with me. Russia isn't charging abusive tariffs. The little that we do import are generally exempt from US tariffs.

And the US taxpayer had to bailout the farmers.
Looks like we may have to do it again and help some other industries .
Farmers in a lot of red states are already saying this isn't what I voted for , and are also saying they might go bankrupt.
You don't get to speak for everyone, Tball. Omniscience fallacy.

I recall that the autoworkers union declined to endorse either candidate in 2024. No doubt there is and will be a lot of regret for those stupid enough to have voted for Trump. Car sales are going to fall
They already have, long before any tariffs by Trump.
as prices skyrocket due to the tariffs on steel, aluminum, and auto parts made elsewhere.
The United States makes steel and aluminum.
And then the layoffs will begin.
They already have, long before Trump's tariffs. EVs aren't going to be mandated anymore.

Well the price of a car has gone up already not as much as the tariffs but are going up.
Due to high inflation during Biden. You can't blame that on Trump, Tball!
This will slow car sales and layoffs will be coming.
Already happened. You can't blame that on Trump either!
MAGAS can't seem to understand Tariffs this high will be passed on to the consumer and not paid by the exporting country.
MAGA isn't a person, Tball. If you want to buy expensive import items, feel free.
Yes if the tariffs were reasonable they would absorb some of the costs but not when they are this high.
What 'costs', Tball????
and you can bet a lot of them will be adding on an extra couple percent and pad their bottom line.
So? Why do you want to buy expensive imports?
