Does the US currently have any trade with Russia, Belarus, Cuba, or N. Korea? I know on the last two there are long standing embargos on trade. I'm not sure on the first two.

There is some trade with Russia. Mostly they buy food from us, and we import a few things from them. They don't have abusive tariffs, so we don't impose any on them.

PRECISELY why Trump's team currently has tariffs (at the baseline 10% rate) on "penguin island". Loopholes re: trade are being closed.

The islands would have been considered part of Australia, had trump not listed them separately. So they would have had 24% tariffs, had trump not created the odd loophole that they would have 10% tariffs. Technically, Australian wool could be moved through these uninhabited islands, and save 14% of the tariffs.

This is just more trump not thinking things through.
