Trump in 2024?

Agreed. Like Hillary and the DNC, Trump will be persona non grata at the RNC.

Besides, if she hasn't done it already by then, Melania would divorce him.

Lastly, Trump will find much more satisfaction, and avoid legal entanglements, with Trump TV. He'll probably be banned from Twitter by then.

I don't think NY State is going to just take a pass on prosecuting Trump. Those are pretty serious charges. We'll see. If Trump has been cooperating with Putin utilizing some back channel communications, that's something that he would not want to come to light. Just sayin'. I'd say Trumps best insurance policy is his status as a cult leader. Manipulating all of those people and feeding them false information is probably something Putin will find useful.

Agreed, but on state charges, Trump will spend $100M-200M tying the New York legal system up in knots. If OJ can get away with murder for $10M (about $18M in 2020), then certainly Trump can have the last laugh employing an army of lawyers to stay out of jail.

Trump will just outlast them....and stay out of New York state. Sadly, millions of dollars buys a lot of "justice" in America.

There is nothing to prevent the democrats from sending the impeachment proceedings back to the senate for conviction and they would only need a couple repubs to go along with it. I would not doubt Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio would like him out of the picture. You don't have to still be in office to be convicted in the senate and if this happened Trump would be ineligible. Even after being found guilty of a felony (tax fraud or campaign violations) he could run again if he is out of prison. His supporters don't care if he is a criminal as well as a racist and assaulting women they have already shown that. Then again Biden has already whipped his ass once why not hope for the jackass to run again and the GOP be scared shitless they have to put up with that asshole another 4 years?

I think the GOP has had enough of that asshole and would just as soon he was eliminated one way or another. They may have to bite the bullet and lose a few more elections when all his cult members refuse to vote for the republican because they shunned their little dictator but we are seeing a few saying you lost, get over it. Look at Romney, I bet he is re-elected and he has never said trump is anything but an asshole.
