And you have no knowledge of it. Before you can have your religious freedom deprived you at minimum, need to be within our borders. Some would argue you'd need to be a citizen. Muslims at the airport in Tehran or Pakistan don't have any rights that are recognized by the US constitution.

A more reasonable objection would be that it could effect the relationship with our Muslim allies. But that begs the question of how it would effect it. The knee-jerk liberal response is that they'd get pissy and cease to work with us against radical Muslim groups [to whatever extent they work with us presently]; but just maybe they would get the hint that they need to try a little harder in keeping radical Muslims from getting here.

In the meantime, an obvious carve-out would be for Muslims who are US citizens---the COTUS actually applies to them.

What kind of president would Trump be? I have no idea, only that it would be wonderfully entertaining! But I have a pretty good idea I know what kind of president Hillary would be and I want no part of it.

There is no way that he could ever implement such a policy, it is just pure rhetoric for the politically incontinent.

But his rhetoric has a way of steering the debate. Love him or hate him, Trump is the first republican to come along in a long while that can force a national debate just by uttering a few words. He did the same thing with immigration. It also makes his competitors, on both sides, look kind of unserious by comparison.

Which they are. People know they're all talk and it's a big reason Trump is still around.

Maybe Trump is a blowhard and has no intention of doing what he says [then again, who knows, really] but his political methods are effective, whether it's by luck or design.

And if it's by design, he's being woefully underestimated by a lot of people.
 
A recent poll finds that 1 out of 3 Trump supporters are just as stupid as the other 2.

I agree. What's sad though is to recognize that and yet you don't see that in Obama as well. His Marxist, anti-capitalist hate the rich and corporations rhetoric is every bit as extreme and yet that's just hunky dory with you

Ironically, it's *YOU* who has no respect for our Constitution if you're extending Constitutional protections to foreigners in foreign lands who have never even set foot on American soil.
