Trump is losing support in Texas

Biden couldn't win a gold fish bowl at a carnival......

Biden won the Presidency, which is something greater than a gold fish bowl.

Gore and Kerry got well under 40% in Texas. Then it started rising. In 2020, Biden got 46.5%, which is in striking distance. If the trend continues, Democrats will win in Texas in either 2024, or 2028.

What is the most common Republican response to this strategic collapse? DENIAL!!!

Then you should have no problem indicating the post #, you lying piece of shit

to be fair, you ARE too stupid to page up.......#26.......now, do you need help on how to use that information?......here's a clue......look at the debt increase for 2017, 2018, 2019.......now keeping in mind who took control of the House and that Fauci's virus needed a vaccine, look at the debt increase for 2020.......tell me about the 80% of "Trump's" deficit that isn't Trump's........

you won't have unconsttutional elections twice......

We keep coming back to "where is the proof", but moving on.

In the last 30 years, Republicans have won the popular vote exactly one time. That is a terrible record. Biden has won the nationwide popular vote 3 times. That is a great record.

The majority of Americans look at trump and think he is a mentally unstable, loser, idiot. That is just a fact.

It doesn't matter who took control of the
House, you stupid piece of shit. The President signed legislation or he vetos it. Trump vetoed zero spending. All debt increases are his fault!

America would not have had a deficit if it were not for the massive tax cuts for the rich, which trump increased. Beyond that, Clinton, Obama, and now Biden have decreased the deficit, while Reagan, Bush, Bush, and trump all increased the deficit. trump increased the deficit even before Covid. The vaccine did little to increase the deficit.

Not to mention that all Presidents have problems thrust upon them. trump just proved himself unqualified to deal with those problems.

That is especially bad, because trump is now claiming he is clairvoyant, able to predict the future, and even knew the pandemic was coming. And he still failed? That is just pathetic. Not as pathetic as claiming to be clairvoyant, but yes, trump is just pathetic.

One doesn't have to continue supporting Trump to remain a complete asshole.
Supporting Ironside Abbott or Rhonda Santis or any one of those GOP brokedicks is sufficient evidence to solidify one's asshole status.

Texas should really go independent. That would be a great bunch of red electoral votes to shitcan from the electoral college.

It doesn't matter who took control of the House

and yet while Nancy led the Demmycrats in the House the national debt rose from $6.7T to $31.4T.......while Trump was president and the Republicans ran Congress his deficits were less than $1T a year......when Nancy took control it jumped to $5.4T for his 4th year........does it really matter who controls the House?.....

That is not true. I really do not know why you would think that was true.

while Trump was president and the Republicans ran Congress his deficits were less than $1T a year.

During the good times, when the deficit should have continued to decrease, Republicans shot it up from $400 billion to nearly a trillion.

when Nancy took control it jumped to $5.4T for his 4th year.

During the bad times, when we had a pandemic, it did shoot up. You blame Pelosi, but why not trump?

Once a political force of nature with Texas Republicans, former President Donald Trump’s influence appears to be waning in the state as he mounts a 2024 presidential campaign and the state’s legislative session gets underway.

About two months into his comeback bid, few prominent Texas Republicans have endorsed Trump — and some are showing more willingness to cross him publicly. His recent blaming of abortion restrictions for Republicans’ midterm election losses sparked disagreement across the Texas GOP spectrum, and state Republicans have disregarded his preferences as they navigated the races for U.S. House speaker and Republican National Committee chair.

Trump, picked up little support in Texas beyond the usual suspects after he announced his reelection bid for the White House in mid-November. He got the endorsements of two predictable loyalists: Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller, who had already endorsed Trump for a comeback campaign about a year ago, and Attorney General Ken Paxton, whom Trump has teased as a potential U.S. attorney general if he wins the White House again.

Gov. Greg Abbott has been silent on the former president’s candidacy. Abbott, a potential 2024 candidate himself, got Trump’s endorsement in his primary last year but kept his distance during the general election, skipping an October rally in Texas.

Notably, a large majority of the Texas Republicans in the 118th Congress — 20 out of 25 — got Trump’s endorsement in the 2022 election. Of those members, only three have returned the favor and backed Trump for 2024: freshman U.S. Rep. Wesley Hunt of Houston, Rep. Troy Nehls of Richmond and Rep. Ronny Jackson of Amarillo, Trump’s former White House doctor. Texas’ U.S. senators, John Cornyn and Ted Cruz, have signaled openness to supporting someone beside Trump, and Cornyn has said he would like to “see some new blood.”

not really.
:truestory:

only never trumpers, globalist libertarians, and dems say this shit. and they were never for trump.

good lord you're stupid......
1) tax revenue went UP after Trump's tax cut....
FY 2020 $3.42 trillion
FY 2019 $3.46 trillion
FY 2018 $3.33 trillion
FY 2017 $3.32 trillion
FY 2016 $3.27 trillion

2) it is not true that Obama and Biden have decreased the deficit.....the best you could argue is that even though they were the highest, it might have been worse.......of course it might have been better as well, if a Republican had been in office...

while they were (are) in office the deficits were the biggest.......see the graph of deficit trends at the treasury web site...

it is not true that Obama and Biden have decreased the deficit.

The problem you have is that it was true. Both Obama and Biden were handed large deficits when they came to office, so it is a little less impressive they were able to decrease it, but they did just that.

That is not true. I really do not know why you would think that was true.

???....yes it is......I provided the proof of that on another thread.......she became minority leader in 2002.....she has been either minority leader or speaker from then through 2022.......look up the national debt between those two dates......
