Demographic trends show he is ruling for a base that will soon be an electoral minority, while alienating a demographic that will soon hold the balance of power. Trump and his acolytes are facing a demographic time bomb, and the more he does to alienate everyone except his base, the worse it will get for everyone. The United States is governed today by a generation of politicians who are at the end of their careers and reflect a political era that is drawing to a close. In them, we are seeing the last gasps of 1950s America, as the baby boomers come to the end of an era in which they were the political majority and in control of industry.

More specifically, white Americans will become a minority over time, starting with younger generations as demographic balance changes through both births and deaths.
Because minorities as a group are younger than whites, the minority white tipping point comes earlier for younger age groups. The new census projections indicate that for youth under 18—the post-millennial population—minorities will outnumber whites in 2020.

He has only one more term to go.Then you get to worry about the next Republican.

Nikki Haley will be the next Republican Presidential nominee and guno has already made it clear she's a sell out to her race.

What? Are you suggesting that MINORITIES do not like to work and are not currently enjoying the lowest unemployment rate in US history for minorities? Those minorities sure must be stupid....no? :laugh:

Why? Another left wing HOPE? :laugh: How is that hope working out for ya so far? People are not stupid.....you have to have a government that offers more than a welfare state with a "new normal" averaging 1.9% GDP growth. What's the plan of the left.....get rid of republicans? Then what? A mirror of the great diversity seen in places like Venezuela, Cuba, N. Korea...etc., Places that once was wealthy that have been brought to its knees by socialism....the same socialism offered by the modern dems? :dunno:

Which is why, as much as I like both Bernie and Biden (and am sure that Biden can whomp the Toadstool in 2020), I wish the (D)s would start promoting younger candidates. The (R)s aren't the only ones who need to worry about the demographics.
