Trump is VERY likely to be convicted.

At first I was sure that there would be at least one trumpanzee on any jury to create a mistrial.

Now, with four possible juries, at least one will probably convict him.

Our big problem becomes his hand picked SCOTUS overturning any convictions.

If he is convicted and it stands, house arrest is the only reasonable option.

First, his secret service detail does not deserve to work in a prison like common prison guards,
the latter not being the highest quality people in government service.

Second, if we put a former president in prison,
we'll look more like a banana republic than we do already.
 
I don’t see prison for him. A huge logistics problem for the Secret Service, etc. I believe a judge, given a guilty plea or verdict, would take that into consideration.

If Trump were smart, and he’s not, he’d be making some deals, take a plea, even if it’s “no contest”, and retire to anonymity. Best for everyone involved.

One already flipped in the Miami case, and it looks like Mark Meadows is cooperating in the D.C. case.

Meadows might also be cooperating in GA, but I doubt it.

The documents case is so cut and dried, that they will have to give him time. Many people who mishandled documents served time. Trump did it on a scale nobody ever had and he lied to the FBI and hid the documents which were not his. There is no way out for his daffiness.

It is the jury, not we, who will see all the facts and actually know what is purported to have happened.

While my personal suspicion is that Trump is guilty of every single charge plus serious crimes not even charged,

this is an admitted a suspicion and nothing more.

I hate the guy,
I don't believe in classless presidents just because the great unwashed like them,
and it would serve my personal purposes
if he were held in confinement,
even if it's house arrest in the lap of luxury,
for the rest of his life.

I have been conditioned by decades of life's realities, however,
to be pessimistic about America by nature.

Just as much as I suspect that he's totally guilty,
I also suspect that he may very possibly skate,
and could even become president again.

If that happens, America's fully dystopic era will have begun,
and the very worst accusations that the rest of the world makes toward us
will have been proven to be completely true.

Trump addressed a presser recently and told the attendees that Georgia DA Fani Willis was a black racist, a Marxist and a low life.



He also said that she was a slut who had an inappropriate affair with a Black, POS gang-banger in Atlanta called "Big Nut" (Now sadly deceased - shot dead in a gang war I'm afraid). It seems that "Big Nut" was one of Fani's clients when she was a defence attorney. Interestingly, DA Willis has not yet denied this claim. If it were false, surely she would have sued for slander by now?! But I guess 'if it not the truth, you can't file suite".



Fani was brought up by her father who was a hateful, violent racist and former member of the "Black Panthers."



Also, DA Willis is currently being investigated by the House Republican Judiciary Committee for political weaponisation of the Justice system.
