The good news for now is the lower fuel prices. Hopefully that will eventually mean lower prices on stuff that has to be trucked/shipped, which is everything just about. I would be surprised though if food overall goes down much, if at all. The best we can hope for is less inflation.

Stock up. That will change when Trump starts a war in the Persian Gulf. He'll start WWIII if he has to in order to run from the Epstein Files.

I see the #TangerineTyrant is now claiming to have kidnapped Pres. Maduro of Venezuela. How is that even remotely legal? If it is, can we have some other country kidnap Trump? Please?

Gas prices go up and down. Todays price means nothing about future prices. Oil is traded on commodity markets by speculators. The head of Saudi oil once said 30 percent of oil prices are caused by speculators. There are a few companies that decide oil prices. They are powerfuland run by super wealthy. OPEC can move prices as they wish.

What's your thoughts on the U.S. seizing an OPEC member's tankers? Think they'll retaliate by cutting production which will increase prices?

Some people seem to really need a leader(or in German a Führer). The disorder of millions of people doing their own thing is too much for them. When you think about it, it really is an anti-capitalist perspective.

It does seem to be a need for a father figure in adult life. They lack control over their own world, so want a father to be in control.

Agreed. Most certainly an anti-liberty perspective. The more walls we build, the more like prison our life becomes.

Exactly my thoughts. Yes, that's the way they feel, but in reality, they are just weak and cowardly people who pine for the days when their daddy took care of them.

They won't. We need to accept that hundreds of thousands will die because tens of millions will lose their health insurance. It is an ugly thing to accept. Even when the Democrats get control of the House, Republicans will be able to make it nearly impossible to save these people.

I agree. What a sad, awful thing for a country that likes to pretend that it's a "Christian nation." We aren't even close. Secular and Islamic and Hindu and atheist and Catholic nations provide for their citizens better than America does.
