This is important. Lavrov spelled this out in detail during his interview with Hungarian YouTube channel "Ultrahang." Agreement was reached at Anchorage. It was Witkoff's own proposal that was under discussion, and the Russians accepted it. Trump then went back on it when he returned to Washington. Just like Trump went back on his agreement to hold a summit with Putin in Budapest. It is absolutely Trump's war now.

Not only did Trump cancel Budapest, it was his idea.

Then the people in charge told Trump no, he most certainly is not meeting Putin again.
