Trump on the Russia-Ukraine war: "It doesn't have of an effect on us because we have a big beautiful ocean in between."

The distance between Japan and Hawaii(Pearl Harbor) is almost exactly the distance between Ukraine and NYC... But Russia has much better technology than Japan did during WWII.

I can't believe we're only a month in.

This is such a pathetic statement for a world leader to make.
Like a meteor, I expect a lot of flash and then....nothing. Republicans are already grumbling. Jesse Watters even flip-flopped when a government friend of his lost his job.

Gotta love the irony, eh? LOL

Words from another veteran who was laid off: “I voted for Donald Trump. But this is not what I was expecting”

Jesse Watters begged Trump on The Five Wednesday to be “less callous” in his mass firings because his friend Chris, a military veteran for 20 years who “has killed a lot of bad guys” and “put his life on the line,” was among those set to be axed in cuts to the Department of Defense.

“He punched out after 20 years, and [is now] working for the Pentagon. And he’s only been there a few months, so he’s probationary, and he just found out he’s probably going to get laid off. He’s going to get DOGE’d,” Watters said, adding that he got a text message from the friend, who was upset.

“This guy is not a DEI consultant. This guy is not a climate consultant. This guy is a veteran. So when you’re talking about DOGE-ing people, veterans should get priority. Because if you’re going to go out there and kill enemies, and put your life on the line for this country, you should not be in the same category as people that are doing DEI,” Watters added.

Although Trump is still spreading CIA fantasy casualty figures I doubt he does not know how consequential losing this war is for America....all of his energy is going into America avoiding responsibility for what we have done trying to diminish the ding.

It is highly unlikely that the world is buying his BullShit.

My grapevine is of the general opinion that the America's Debacle in Ukraine, one of the most profound military blunders in all of history, is the end of NATO, maybe the end of the EU, and likely the end of the American Imperial Empire.

Ukraine is a lesson that hate blinds, the hate of the American Elites towards the Russians, which is profoundly racist at root, has embarrassed us in front of the world.
