trump: promises made, promises kept

Wrong. BTW calling her Kamalala makes you a halfwit child.
Yes, Kamalala supporters are exceedingly rare ... perhaps only a handful. What we really have are many never-Trumpers.
Using "Kamalala" is a brilliant exposee of the absurdity of the left's insitence on controlling all the speech and expression on the matter.

Fuck you and Kamalala.

You're on a king-tipping roll!

So much pain. :D

Let's start with trump's promise to end the Ukraine war in 24 hours. That would be from January 20 to January 21, 2025.

"During his campaign, Trump vowed to end the Russia-Ukraine war within a day if he won the presidency, without providing any details about how he planned to do it. It sparked concerns from Ukraine that it would be on terms favorable to Moscow.

“They’re dying, Russians and Ukrainians. I want them to stop dying. And I’ll have that done — I’ll have that done in 24 hours," he said at a CNN town hall in May last year."

Before he’s sworn in, Trump is already breaking campaign promises

"...Perhaps most important of all was Trump’s election season declaration that if voters backed him, he’d successfully broker an end to Russia’s war in Ukraine. This would happen, the Republican boasted, during his transition period and “within 24 hours.” He even repeated the vow during his presidential debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, assuring Americans that “I will get it settled before I even become president.”

As NBC News reported, Trump failed.

On the campaign trail, Donald Trump vowed to quickly end the war in Ukraine. He’d do it in “24 hours” after taking the oath, he said, or even before his inauguration. But as he prepares to return to the White House, it’s clear that promise will go unfulfilled. Nearly three years after Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, there’s no end in sight to the war, Europe’s worst since World War II.
The New York Times published a related analysis, noting that Trump “not only has failed to keep his promise; he has also made no known serious effort to resolve the war since his election in November.”

In other words, the president-elect didn’t even try to keep his promise.

What’s more, it’s important to appreciate the fact that this wasn’t just some random line that Trump blurted out once or twice by accident. On the contrary, a tally published by NOTUS found that Trump, ahead of Election Day, told voters 33 times that he’d end the devastating conflict within one day, routinely adding that this would happen before his second term began."

I think those convictions will be overturned. The appellate court was really displeased with them. At the end rather than arguing the merits of the case they were instead begging not to be sanctioned.
Still not overturned.

"...Merchan was clear that while Trump's status as president-elect limited his sentencing options, it did not change the fact that a jury of twelve New Yorker's convicted the former president for what Merchan described in a filing last week as a "premeditated and continuous deception."

"Despite the extraordinary breadth of those protections, one power they do not provide is a power to erase a jury verdict," Merchan told the courtroom Friday."

New promise from the megalomaniac's inauguration speech:

"Our power will stop all wars and bring a new spirit of unity to a world that has been angry, violent and totally unpredictable."

...then he declared that the Cartels in Mexico are terrorists organizations and that the US would take back the Panama Canal.
He also lied about how many Americans died constructing the Canal. 1737399693803.png

And the maga saps probably lapped it all up. I'm reading the transcript now, I had the TV on mute but couldn't stand to see his ugliness and all the toadies stroking him.

Yes, they did.

One thing you missed with the sound muted was the different levels of applause. After his declarations about the Canal, the Cartels and changing the maps to say Gulf of America the applause become more polite and less enthusiastic.
